What is the Procedure for Dysport®?

Dysport® is a minimally-invasive injectable cosmetic treatment.  Dr. Toohey may administer a topical anesthesia to numb the treatment area and help you remain comfortable during the procedure.  Based on his extensive knowledge and experience with cosmetic procedures, Dr. Toohey understands which facial muscles cause your frown lines, and he only injects Dysport® into these muscles.  For most patients, the procedure takes 10 to 20 minutes.  The results are immediate, and Dysport® does not require any downtime.

Is Dysport® a Permanent Solution For Frown Lines?

Dysport® is a temporary cosmetic application for correcting frown lines.  The results of each treatment typically last four months, and you should wait at least 90 days between your Dysport® treatments.
